So i have always had and loved quartz. i just got into glass art (beginner stuff) no pipes or anything like that for a hobby. and i realized you could wrap hot glass around hot quartz. but recently i acquired a large piece of malachite from Africa and a pretty good size piece of stibnite from china. but i went online to find more for cheaper and saw they had "healing properties". i read more into the crystals i had and found out alot about them. since then i have been carrying quartz with me in my back pocket just as a reminder to stay cool. today (420!) , i put a small piece of malachite with a small piece of stibnite that broke off in my pocket too.

is any of this stuff actually real?

i plan on combining quartz malachite and amethyst all into one bead. any thoughts?

Quartz is said to have a resonant frequency of around 31kHz. I've always wondered if the amplitude was strong enough for dogs to hear.

With that said, N,N-DMT is a sweet healing crystal.

i read quartz aligns water molecules or something along the lines of that and that sick cells are surrounded by out of line water molecules and healthy ones are surrounded by water molecules that are aligned

to clarify, my question was are the healing properties physical or purely psychological?

Crystals definatily have some energetic effects. I can feel the tuning when I work with quartz and amythest durring ayahuasca ceremonies. A chunk of amythest on my forhead durring ceremony can be very intense. I have crystals with me at all times. Crystals also have this ability to store information and do all kinds of interesting things. This is proven, ever heard of a crystal radio? I bet in the future we will be using crystals for alot of our technology to store information holographically.

I have even heard my alter full of crystals giving off a light hum or buzz durring ceremonies..I really like quartz, amythest and flourite.

iv used citrine as a torch in hyperspace - real citrine in ones forehead is a torch there and seems to highlight otherwize unilluminated stuff - seemed structural and ancient

kyanite does nothing for me - nothing i can perceive at least.

i am a massive believer in the energetic properties of crystals. like the concept of feng shui (movement/stillness), some crystals are able to open and move blocked energy and some are able to 'fix' it so other energy can move around it. someone with extensive reiki/crystal healing experience can truly blow your mind with these things...

check out the pics from my healing room. i have a full array of gems for every chakra and every energetic condition. for me, they are all palpable. but in particular- i always seem to have the following in a little pouch around my neck: the most beautiful opal you've ever seen (keeps ALL chakras open), dioptase (heart chakra), rutilated quartz (acts as a powerful amplifier for all crystals it is in contact with), fire agate (strong 1st and 2nd chakra energy), tiger eye (3rd chakra), turquoise (there's a reason native american art is so rife with it, it is incredible for the 5th chakra among other things), a truly rare and jaw-dropping piece of naturally terminated amethyst from bolivia (put THAT on your 3rd eye and see what happens!)...

and lastly and most intensely...

if i could only have one of my crystals, without a moment's hestitation it would be my tiny, fingernail-sized piece of true-from-the-source satyloka quartz from the satyaloka monestary in southern india. google it and read about it. i could put this tiny thing in the palm of donald rumsfeld and he would jolt like he were shocked. this crystal was purposely collected and infused with the profound enlightenment of those monks that live there. it is MEANT to be spread into the world, to find it's rightful caretaker, and to awaken in him/her the highest calling. this crystal has truly rocked my world. for those in the crystal 'know', aside from being one of the 12 'master' crystals, this particular satyaloka crystal that i have is a record-keeper, an isis, a pink phantom, it has a key in it AND a window/timelink.

this crystal has 5 profound phenomena within it as well as being what it is at it's core. since this crystal found me, tremendous transformation has taken place in my life. awareness and understanding have grown exponentially. manifestation of my 'calling' has seemed to have happened over night.

i also have a tiny piece of meteroitic iron from Yaozhai town in Nandan County, Guangxi China....it has been scientitically estimated to be approx 4.5 BILLION YEARS OLD!!

I'm not sure about healing energy, but i've always loved crystals

I first dug for them with my dad as a kiddo, and now take my son digging. We recently found some neat quartz with green chlorite phantoms (inclusion) and others with red and gold rutile(these were gem quality)

Over the years I have felt a strong urge to find and share many types of crystals
