"Right there she basically flat out say's she isn't interested in looking at vegetarian diet vs. meat diets. She's looking to show that meat based diets with meat removed are less healthy than vegetarian diets"

yeah, the common "vegetarian" diet is shit IMO. I was vegetarian for a long time and ate like crap, and knew many others and still do that eat that way and think it's great since they dont eat meat. There is a HUGE different between a diet restricted to raw or unprocessed plants, and wild water etc and "vegetarian" diets that include all kinds of refined carbs and sweatened foods, foods with preservatives etc. Alot of people I know that claim to be vegetarians eat a standard western diet but exclude the meat, which is more of an "ethical" move to make than a truely healthy one I think.

There is alot of controversy out there reguarding meat vs veg diets. I went back and forth between the 2 with mixed opions for a long time. I know from personal experience though being a raw food "fruitarian", eating mostly fresh fruits with alot of green veggies, that this is the best diet I could possibly eat and that my body runs much more efficiently this way. I find the "vegan" movement to be riddled with ridulous clicky behaviour though to be honest, when I have people getting angry at "vegans" eating bee pollen etc..I find bee pollen and honey to be far far more nutritionally dense than things like agave nectar so I wont cut it out of my diet. There are so many different diets within the vegan and raw food community as well to follow that it is really hard for someone just getting interested in it to figure out what works and what doesnt. trust me , if you find controversy in the whole meat vs vegetarian thing, you will find the same thing in the vegan community.
Long live the unwoke.
