My friend has been working with confusa he has preformed Q21 tek 2 and has had results, but he thinks that it would be better using a STB. Which tek are you using? Try what ever method get back to us with results. It pulls more crap that needs to be cleaned up later (at least that's the consensus). A properlly done A/B yields almost identical results when comparing spice of similar purity (subjective of course).....at least this was the result when someone did a few side by sides.....the post is on here somewhere. With a new plant I will be using an A/B with at least one recrystalization. There is some speculation that this may help remove some of the NMT (unconfirmed) if using a light hydrocarbons like hexane or heptane... I don't know SWIM and personally don't trust him at all. If SWIM is posting, most likely I will not respond...as I said, I don't trust the guy. YOU I trust, but never SWIM.

i am thinking of ditching the stb and going for a/b soon ? 0.6g out of 20g's is quite a lot though, no? I'd be happy with .2 out of 20g MHRB.

swim here prefers using Q's simple tek using lime, vinegar and naptha with freeze percip. but not a lot of experimenting with other teks and acacia bark, some but not many. the freeze percip works wonders. 0.3-0.7g (white crystal) is usual yeild from 50g bark. but it melts easy, some work needs to be done to get rid of solvent before taking out of freezer.
