Hey Nexians!

http://www.tromsite.com/#

I friend of mine linked this to me on facebook and after I watched a few episodes, I wanted to share this information here. The Reality of Me (TROM) is a non-biased, non-partisan view of what it means to be human. What ideas are available to us, how we see the world, problems we face and creative (non-partisan) solutions. It is a 12 hour documentary, but it is split it into several manageable chapters. I have only watched maybe 3 hours of it so far, but I'm looking forward to finishing and hearing out their ideas. The website can explain more than I can. Watch the intro video perhaps.

I started watching one of the segments, and it's clear that the narrator is a computer-generated female voice. Is that the voice used for all 12 hours?!

(I find the voice irritating!)
gibran2 is a fictional character. Any resemblance to anyone living or dead is purely coincidental.

Yes Gibran2, sadly they did decide to use the female robot voice for the whole thing. At first I was like OK this is alright, but half the time I keep wondering what this would sound like with Sigourney Weaver or James Earl Jones voice instead. Although, there are many segments where professors/scientists talk at length instead of the robot voice. She basically narrates introductions and conclusions for most chapters.

I think they chose the female robot voice because they are trying to present the information as unbiasedly as possible, but still an odd choice. Well, if anyone sticks through and watches some here and there, I'd love to continue a discussion on the information. I'm trying to dissect it right now to see what purpose and points they present as I'm curious to know what agenda this was made for. At the moment, it seems very anti-monetary, anti-consumerism and anti-pollution which seems all well and good to me so far.

P.S. Gibran2 I'm glad you checked it out. I have a feeling you would enjoy how they present the information (except the female robot voice haha). When I first saw this portion of the "Science" chapter, it reminded me of your character; in a good way Very happy
