Well, it looks like DMT is becoming more and more mainstream. I hope they don't start cracking down on the supplies that are easiest to extract with.

If they hadn't sold cocaine, they never would have been pursued... now it's just one more strike against entheogens.

Luckily, DMT only seems to be mentioned in the story. They don't even try to explain what it is.

The focus is on "holy shit, the 'good' kids are selling drugs and trying to kidnap people", which is actually newsworthy imo.

This is exactly the reason, why most of us are against the sale of DMT and support others in learning how to be self-sufficient.

The problem is, there are more and more consumerist type of people hearing about DMT, who are so culturaly indoctrinated, that they rather buy than make...even if its easy to make. Its a shame, really.

The fact is you have to be pretty serious about spirituality and really want to have the experience which is reported the most powerful there is to be had in this world to go through extracting DMT. It's a commitment and not something people take that casually. But if it was like beer than a moodset at any convenient period of time would inspire you to give it a shot on a whim. I think extraction even though it's pretty easy is a vital part of the experience as it shows yourself and the community that you really want to try this experience.

It's a crying shame they had to be dealers to go to an institute of higher learning, or THOUGHT they had to deal...Quick money leads to slow prison time.
