Old thread, yeah, but a good one. We have a cat in our household (a dog too, but its not allowed upstairs) and if she is in the house, she will inevitably show up and jump up on the bed where I have reclined, climb onto my chest and make herself comfortable, and purrs like mad while I recover from a good journey. Now, this may not sound unusual to YOU...but this cat is as aloof a feline as you will ever find. Most all the time she won't come near any of us voluntarily.

Go figure. I have no explanation...however, she CLEARLY seems to sense something. What that something is - I have no idea.

cats seem to act strange when DMT is smoked in the same room as them from my experience.

Something I don't know about behavior animals is when someone use a psychedelic he is usually more sensitive and receptive, more observative too. This might be a a reasonn when one might think the animals behave weird. However saying that I've notive on my first salvia launch the pet rat running to me as soon as it start like if somtihng was going on. They probably know they are some changes, like their owner is stoned or drunk, they probably feel you. But as a psychonaught you probably pay more attention to animals and vegetals too.

I'd definitely say for sure that animals can pick up on vibes when tripping, one day there was a changa session with 10 other people, most of them not taking as much as me, and I spent a long time purging and going into intense trances. For the rest of the whole night a friend's dog who's normally pretty shy just curled up in my lap very contently, totally relaxed and at peace, and I could feel a very certain peaceful energy from her just as she could from me.
Will never forget breaking out and looking up at the leaves of the trees above me in the twilight Smile
