Alfrendo is going to get resin in about a week and he really wants a good experience from it. He plans a sublingual/oral attempt first. He'll powder the resin and mix in caapi 10x, add a couple drops each of DMSO, breath drops (alcohol/menthol), benzocaine, until it forms a paste. The paste is then spread over the underside of the tongue, the tongue is kept from touching the bottom of the mouth for 2-5 minutes. This is washed and swallowed then a new amount of paste is reapplied. New applications continue until effects begin. 500mg virola calophylla resin:500mg caapi 10x is the intended dosage.
Questions: does the resin require a base or will it work in it's natural state? Alfrendo has sodium carbonate he can use if it's necessary. Would it be helpful to smear this paste to the deep parts between the gums as well? Is there a particular reason to have the sublingual material touch the bottom of the mouth? Alfrendo believes it's not necessary and only removes it from the tongue which is the true powerhouse of sublingual activity. In Alfrendo's opinion anyway.
