Never needed to go that far, a shady spot on the porch has always done the trick nicely!

Really!? Is there a guide or link to growing it?
Seems like you'd need a lot of plant to get enough root bark.

Well, there are guides around to germinating it (not hard to find) but my mimosa isn't big enough yet for me to worry about space or harvest! Still needs to grow for a couple more years Wink

PLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN.

I think for us in the UK, putting it in your growroom would be perfect - like ganja needs light and a good temp to produce THC, I'm sure the mimosa needs the same sorta climate (prob drier heat though, given it grows in south america and portugal) to produce DMT and it's other alkaloids.

Just guessing there of course - but it only seems to grow in specific parts of the world, so as long as your artificial climate is not far from it's native, I reckon no problems.
I look into the world, wherein there shines the sun...

i'm very interested in this, i live ina region that rarely gets below freezing (2-3 times a year) and that almost never has ice or frost on the ground. I believe that we should start now it preserving our sources for the futre.

I have several going in small pots indoors. I germinated the seeds by soaking in water for a bit. Some seeds germinated after a few days, some after a few weeks. It's cold and not very sunny here so I keep them inside all year. I'm not using any extra lighting, just keeping them on a window sill. I imagine that harvest-able growth indoors would need supplemental lighting but I'm only growing for ornamental purposes.

Acacia Acuminata also sounds promising. It has DMT in the leaves and can handle a bit of frost.
These aren't the droids you're looking for.

anyone have a good reliable source of seeds or beginning plants? heard that some vendors were giving out other species under the hostilis banner, you won't know until years later when the flowers come out
