Finally found my chrysanthemum... on a lamp shade! Options

Well, after much foraging around visionary artist's sites and sitting all of the way through through 'Enter the Void' I found something which really, really looks like the beginning of a typical hyperspace experience. And it's on a lampshade.

Ok, so suspend your disbelief. Imagine this in red, green or blue and black or white and constantly pulsing and changing at warp speed. It usually lasts about a second and then suddenly I pass through or shapes/entities start to extrude out of it and animate around me. This occupies my entire visual field so to speak (my eyes are closed).

I imagine this is what is often referred to as the chrysanthemum a la Terence McKenna.

But then again maybe not, I'd be interested to know if this rings any bells with anyone, or whether they think the chrysanthemum is something different.

That’s interesting. I’ve had some breakthroughs begin with similar geometric patterns, so it does ring a bell, but that isn’t usual for me.

Here’s the closest video I could find that shows how many of my breakthroughs begin. Imagine the cloud filling your entire visual field, colored red or orange or blue/grey, and much more detailed on its surface. Then imagine eventually passing right through the cloud. At that point, I’ve broken through.

Its so fun to try and find art that seems hyperdelically inspired.

This is the closest thing to the veil that i've found
