People descended from hunter gatherers, aka those who are distracted by something shiny and people descended from farmers, aka do the same shit every day. Aren't we all impulsive anyway? I think i read somewhere that smoking should be done before aya. but, i have a question? will putting some ash on top of dmt then smoking work. ill be using my pipe or should i strive for a better mechanism

If you cannot use MJ and do not have access to any materials for Changa you can use parsley/tobacco. Both of those are not recommended though. Don't use ash on top because you need to spark the top layer and get it smoldering. Ash on the bottom is fine though Life is a puzzle. Your parents fill in the edges and give you a starting point. Wanna make clear bc wasting what seems like a amazing chemical would leave my heartbroken Welcome  yes, you can either use ash, or herbs, or a screen for smoking the spice. the most important thing is to not burn the spice, and avoid direct flame contact. you can either infuse it in herbs, or sandwich it between herbs, since the herbs cherry at a much lower temperature than the flame, and thus prevent the burning of spice. if making enhanced leaf with herbs, just very gently and quickly touch the herbs with the flame so that it gets cherried, and then quickly remove the flame, and try to keep the bowl cherried. do as many times as necessary, but avoid all unnecessary flame contact. Also, look into more efficient ways of smoking methods/devices in the Wiki. btw, i would personally not use tobacco for enhanced leaf, esp the cigarette tobacco, since there are other more healthier and less harsh herb alternatives. you should be able to easily find parsely, peppermint, passionflower, etc. at a local store. Also, it is not necessary that you use only these herbs. you can pretty much infuse spice with any flower or leaf you wish..just make sure its not poisonous if you decide to use a random plant. <3

Ash ontop is fine, it help keep the flame away from the molecule. Or you could get some passionflower/blue lotus/caapi/mullein and enhance it  Much better route if no GVG is available IMO.
