I believe we can all thank drugs-foru m for the wondrous SWIM. Someone on there thought that everyone needed to use it to keep them from trouble when discussing meth production and the like...sigh...

eg "So my pet goldfish, bongo, and SWIM were smoking our homecooked meth and then...."

As you can see in my signature, I am vehemently against the usage of this silly acronym.

I am certifiably insane, as such all posts written by me should be regarded as utter nonsense or attempts to get attention.

I don't know SWIM and personally don't trust him at all. If SWIM is posting, most likely I will not respond...as I said, I don't trust the guy. YOU I trust, but never SWIM.

how about swim really is the case..but nevermind that.

in some places, people get busted for talking trash on the internet.
racists blogs, anti government threads, cellphone porn, drugs etc.
when someone uses the term 'swim', then he is just merely reporting an incident instead of being involved.
i agree its kinda paranoid but its worthwhile when your in places such as these.

strangely, with all thats going on...
dmt is uncontrolled in places mentioned above
and i sure hope they keep it that way Very happy

i hope there wont be a barrier in such a great forum between swimmers and non swimmers. please Wink
or in that case their pets or dreamers or whatever.

SWIM asked me to start using it in a sense of solidarity. Plus, after a bit, she started referring to herself as SWIM in her thoughts and accidentally dropping it in conversation and hilarity ensued.

you all have got it all wrong... I really *do* have a pet snake that tells me stories about lovingly growing exotic plants and then eating them.

well....J, i'm not really sure how to cop to this so i'm just gonna say it outright. i caught you doing that 'thing' that you do when you don't think anyone is looking. i was just popping over to see if you wanted to grab some tacos with me and i heard the noise from your back yard. i happened to have my iphone with me and when i saw what was going on, i just....well....i HAD to.

for what it's worth, i didn't give the folks at youtube your real name and i don't think you can see your face THAT clearly so don't stress out. personally, i think it's kinda cute... Pleased

I agree that if "SWIM"ing makes some people feel safer, then so be it.. But I rofl whenever I see a post that starts off with "SWIM" and ends up with "I". Whoops.

Is there a case of someone getting out of trouble with the law because of using SWIM? Honestly I don't think it would hold up in a court of law.
Life is a puzzle. Your parents fill in the edges and give you a starting point. The interesting thing about this puzzle is that one piece could fit in a million different spots and you will never fill it in. Try as you may, it will never be complete.

No, there's no case at all. And honestly, if you look at what happened to Fanaticus back in the day, it should be overwhelmingly apparent that SWIMming is pointless, stupid, and when used in combination with abysmal syntax, makes for posts that are very easy to ignore.
