firstly, hi all! having been interested in dmt and reading most the information available online for close to a year, i felt it was time i joined what seemed to be the most devout group of dmt lovers. basicaly, soon i will be making my first dmt extraction. i myself am hugley interested in the power and meaning dmt encompasses. having read alot of the threads, many of you have warned to be careful of who you intoduce to the 'spirit molecule'. my first question being, how do you know whos ready? a couple friends have shown a good deal of interest in it, what signs do i look for to be sure im not indangering their pyche by allowing experimentation? the issue im battling with is i feel its unfair to both judge their ability to deal with this experience by previous pychadelic use; as well as being totaly unexperienced myself, who am i to deprive them of the experience i strive for? any suggestions? i think your experience with this will prove invaluable with this question. ...for the record, im trying the batch myself first, with a sitter; no matter what, and then go from there.

Very true. None of us are in any position to judge if someone is ready. If someone is honestly seeking and has a minimal amount of knowledge on the subject, they are as ready as they can be. We are all "endangering" our psyche's in a certain sense, no level of maturity can protect from the power displayed by DMT. My guideline is this: Share with those who humbly seek.

i think i get what you mean. So, as long as someone asks for an experience based on genuine curiosity and pure intentions (without alterior motives, as i may percieve them) then thatd be a fair guidline? i suppose thats as fair as it can get really... iv also insisted they look into it themselves, just to gauge the true enormity of it themselves.. though many say that nothing can convey the power of the experience, is such research futile? ha ha, i guess ill answer my own question after my first experience. wish me luck!

Individual research is a huge sign of willingness and understanding that this is not just another high. I have declined a few people who are very aggressive about the whole possibility, or those who I feel may freak out, resulting in harm coming to me as the provider. I always add this warning with those I share with: "I can make no promises, this is uncharted territory you are entering. Journey at your own risk." I feel this does a decent job of weeding out those who don't take spice seriously. And yes, good luck and best wishes!

Id say experience it for yourself a few times first....it becomes pretty damn obvious who might benefit from this & who probably can't handle it or wouldn't want to. It's not a judgment on that person...there are just many personality's & interests out there...as many as there are people. Not all are ready to rip apart reality...even when they may think they are. I tend to turn on people who I know personally & I know they are looking for that thing that connects us all but haven't found any answers.... out there..... The ones who just need a little push to go inside themselves for the answers. WS All posts are fictional short stories depicting the adventures of WSaged!! None of these events have actually happened and any resemblance to any real persons or incidents is totally coincidence!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes. My golden rule in this matter is that i always tell exactly what DMT (or any other psychedelic) is, including all the 'downsides' of it. I tell them that there may be fear, there may be panic, all that you thought was certain may be teared apart. Some people are scared away, while others become intruiged by it, and i think that's a sign of people's subcounscious minds telling them what's good for them, what they need or what they don't need.
