Last few attempts I struggled to get ‘full on rollercoaster’ breakthrough with GVG loaded with straight spice. Where I got was a strange mind space defined by ‘thought loop’ and dark, scary, kind of dreamy visuals. But not many and more like flushes on edge of my visual field. I still hold on to my mind in there, but it is incapable to operate. Any thought I try to generate is cut in the middle, raising confusion, amplified into fear as trip progress. This ‘thought loop’ manifest to me as kind of schizophrenic tune playing over and over. At least that is how I imagine schizophrenia could tests like. I have control over my body too. I could stand up and walk. Those trips are not very comfortable, I just hope for them to finish as soon as possible every time.

Technique

I use piece of metallic scrubber for dishes (small ball of it), which I put into GVG chamber on screens , I toss dose on it, melt spice into metallic ball by adding heat with torch lighter just for a second . Ready to go. (Learned here on Nexus, thanks ) I used to get rid of scrubber after each trip. (which was mistake)
Today I did the same, vaporised all spice in one huge hit and whoooop... there I am again in that loop of broken mind, watching flushes of evil children playing with something sinister I can’t grasp and listening to never ending loop of ‘almost thoughts’ ambient and worrying that I’ll stay like this forever..........I’m happy when it is done with me. I’m finally out of it and my mind stopped to purge and I can think again.
After I calmed down, still tripping but ok, I decided to do test if all spice got really vaporized. So I took ceramic filter down and just torch the mash ball in open chamber. And BIG surprise. REAL vaporizing starts only now! I’m getting enormous amount of hot fumes into my lungs for as long as I can suck. (30 seconds of constant slow sucking I guess at least). After that I try again and here we go...the same story! I'm choking with fumes! And what started than I can describe as overwhelming and powerful start of ‘consciousness racket’ out from this reality.

Trip

My body got stolen by heat, sharpest buzz in my ears generated by energy field of some fast frequency is bending time which move faster and faster. I’m sucked somewhere with speed of whatever... In front of my closed eyes fractal beauty is changing into life. I see fairies dancing all over the ‘place’. It is all too powerful, I’m not able to gasp it all, I’m freaking out, but just for a short while.....
After main peak has finished I got through two more weaker and shorter peaks later without sucking GVG some more. I got to see my face and body in mirror as well (unbelievable, I sat in front of the mirror for minutes). Whole trip lasted in my best guess almost half an hour.
I realized there is still spice in scrubber ball. I got 5-6 medium hits more out of open GVG! (I didn’t dare to suck hard at this point) Getting other 30 minutes of nice mild trip to listen some music and think about what just happened.

I’m going to use this technique again. It seems that scrubber ball is protecting DMT very well and ceramic filter is not letting all spice to vaporize. With filter on ,I couldn’t vaporize any more spice after that first hit. So I always thought that’s it and I discarded the ball. I wasted some DMT over last 3 months...
Now I know better.

GVG – diffuser = very expensive glass pipe

Without the diffuser, you run the risk of burning your spice.
You say you are using a “ball” of metallic scrubber. You should be using a fairly thin disc. A ball will insulate the DMT, as you have discovered. Also, are you using a butane torch lighter or an ordinary “Bic” type lighter? A torch lighter is necessary for best results.

I use metallic scrubber like that, but ball, not a disk. I will try the disk next time with diffuser on. I will see how it'll work. Thanks brother.

I use GVG for tobacco vaping and I'm happy with it. It is worth of money, because I don't smoke cigs anymore

I have been using a ball like that along with several screens at the bottom and one on top. I have not tried smoking any more than 35 mg so far and I have had some pretty wild launches. My GF smoked 30 mg and had a full breakthrough. I am toying with trying a bit more, say 40 mg and see where that gets me. I have never removed the copper ball, and don't plan to. I've used the pipe about 7 times so far once with changa. I'll probably clean it soon with acetone and evaporate it to get any goods that are still in the lower portion of the pipe.
