That first image, kind of what I see every time I take a decent sized dose - the first description I used was lines like that of Sine Waves on an oscillator, thousands of them, which I thought was very apt given the old "Turn on, tune out, drop out" saying. The size of the waves got smaller and smaller, and then the funky stuff would begin.
