A little changa Options

This is my third experience with smoking DMT, it took place yesterday (15/08/2010). This time I used changa made from caapi leaves and blue lotus.

I inhaled deeply twice and felt the usual rushing sensation, I saw colourful swirling patterns comparable to oil in water. Despite feeling rather euphoric and anaesthetised, I decided that I should try to go deeper into the experience than before. I loaded the pipe for a second time and burned most of the changa in one large hit. This time the surge was so powerful I began to feel a slight edge of panic set in, I imagined a screaming voice in my head which seemed very clear. As the swirling patterns became more intense I covered my eyes with my hands to see what effect darkness would have on my hallucinations. Immediately I noticed my entire field of vision was flashing very fast, maybe 20-30 times per second. A vision began to emerge, as it did, I simultaneously felt as though I was in a room. The room seemed like a hall, or a corridor which was very dark and shadowy. The only colour I could see was a dark shade of purple. In addition to the flickering my vision was grainy, almost like an analogue television. The vision faded quickly and I was left with the desire to see more.

I loaded the pipe for a third time, despite my intuition telling me to stop. I felt another pleasant lifting sensation but it did not take me further into the experience, there was no increase in visuals. I knew that this was a sure sign I had smoked enough changa for tonight.

I cant stress enough how important it is to listen to your intuition or that little voice that says -enough! I have done this on several occasions and once in a while nothing happens, like what happened to you. OFTEN, when I dont listen to my intuition, I get brutally spanked by the entities for my lack of respect and obedience.

When the little voice says no more or not today, heed the warning, its time to integrate.

Very nice report, interesting, do you keep any sort of voyage log or keep track of your dosages?

Very much agree with Ice House Shaman, and have had the same experience. After a couple of breakthroughs with changa, SWIM had a sizable period of time where she couldn't break through on changa, no matter if she tried going for more or not. A lot of emotional material came up, and she found herself taking on body postures and breathing in ways automatically that would break up muscle tensions she was unaware of. Pay attention and you can catch the messages getting sent.

Be cool, be well.

Yes, on reflection I felt pleased that I 'got away with it' so to speak. I was having negative thoughts all the way through loading the pipe for the third time, perhaps the spice had mercy on me as I'm a beginner.

The only log of my experiences that I keep is here on the forums. Though I have plans to write a more elaborate log when my experiences get more interesting. When I use DMT, I get the feeling that I'm about to create some valuable memories. I see the importance of recording these voyages, especially as I've failed to do so in the past with my mushroom trips.

How did you like the changa compared to freebase? My next session will involve maoi's so I'm wondering how the intensity was.

Changa for me is a lot more desirable than freebase. I found the changa to be similar in intensity, perhaps coming on a little slower. However my experience is very limited, I would need more experience to make an informed judgement. One thing is for certain, I found it much easier to use.
