so i met someone at a festival who had some 25mg caps of 4HO MiPT. turns out it is classified as a RC, and is not scheduled, yet.
i know, i know, i don't usually offer myself to be a human guinea pig, but the vibe came thru as pure, so i gave it a try on the spot.
granted, i was on a small dose of psilocybin at the time already-and large quantities of cannabis, but whatever. the onset was rapid, and we were in tryptamine realm in no time. it was subtle, no crazy hallucinations while walking/listening to music. it wasn't till im guessing 2-3 hours later, when i laid down and closed my eyes that the most pristine hallucinations appeared behind the eyelids. crystal shards unfolding, multiplying, then 3d texture would appear on the edges. the feeling was tentacle aly. my bud called it a long ended (armed) tryptamine. it wasn't till two days later that i was able to pull up A. shulgins notes on his synthesis, and discover just what i had taken.

anyone else come across, or tried this molecule?

I have tried this molecule myself. I took 4-HO-MiPT solo, and it was a fantastic, meaningful experience. I spent the duration of the experience lying back in bed on a beautiful day (blinds open), just listening to soft music and existing in a state of contemplative stillness. It was beautiful. It heightened my emotional sensitivity greatly, and in a very positive way. It wasn't pushy at all. It was like floating in a slow current. "I" was fully in tact, but I also felt like the gateway to the Self and even the universal was much more open. Communication between the two levels, so to speak, was freed. I experienced sensations of utter love and light that seemed timeless and ageless. The sensations and feelings weren't out of my own personal life, but out of the collective experience of humanity, or so it felt. It was basic, even primal, empathy. The experience also had a very Eastern feel to it, if that makes any sense. I had visions very much like the Hindu deities Vishnu, Shiva, and Brahma. This is another thing that makes me feel as though the gateway to the realm of archetypes was freed and then illustrated or symbolized. As it always really is with these things, words do little justice. However, I felt I should chime in since I do have some experience with 4-HO-MiPT (Miprocin).

The one song that really touched me on this trip was Paul Simon - "Slip, Sliding Away". This was probably 4 years ago, and I still remember it as being vividly meaningful.

This molecule came to me by the hands of a very trusted friend and fellow traveler. I am quite grateful for the experience. I probably won't repeat it, simply because the chemical is so obscure and untested, even within the realm of "RC" trypts and phens. I am not one of those who is against experimentation with these compounds, however, so long as that experimentation is done with respect (including respect for one's self) and responsibility. I'm looking forward to trying 4-AcO-DMT soon myself.

Peace Smile
