Just stumbled upon the following:
http://io9.com/5551357/alien-languages-not-humanI would be interested to hear everyone's opinions on hyperspatial language. How did they communicate, did they understand your words, was it through telepathy, intentions, music, forms, syntax? Did you feel you could hold a conversation with animals/plants/other humans through new means on sub breakthrough doses? Did your communications improve with more journeys and was this because of mutual learning or adjustment from predominantly one side?
My impression is that more advanced aliens would do away with words, since these can be so easily misunderstood. Therefore, evolution would probably have led them to develop a sign language. This is consistent with my dmt experiences - on one occassion, I was making decisions with sign language, and talking to my dmt partner in hyperspace by first "tuning into" each other. On another, this time sub-breakthrough dose, the tapestry was forming shapes corresponding with the Shpongle song that was playing at the time, which were making sense completely, but at the time I could not express or understand how exactly it is they're making sense, only that they were. Perhaps it was a synaesthetic experience of the music, but as the trip wore off I suddenly had an abundance of realisations, so the information download might only have been translated by my brain to a form usable to me after the experience itself.
