someone heard it , and told me about it never hearing about dmt or ayahuasca before

said the ravers are getting into it and part of the show interviewed some as they were taking it and they were all scared of throwing up

its getting exposure

will this lead to decriminalization, more use, crack down on use, vendors prohibited from selling in the country or will it be forgotton

should one stock up on brew

Best case: It'll be forgotten
Worst Case: Criminalization

i think it will create a great complicated legal conundrum for the drug authorities to ban DMT containing plants, because so many plants contain it not to mention the human brain. although somehow its a schedule one drug which makes no sense but anyway.

Who cares about bark supply? Anyone who really likes this stuff is going to consider becoming self sufficiant and grow the plants they need. Also anyone who considers the ecology of this planet important will also look towards self suficiancy. There is no way any goverment is able to stop DMT.

Very true...bundleflower is cold hardy and can grow like wildfire around where I live... 0.3% DMT if you believe the reports. Self Sufficiency is where it is really at. DMT is everywhere.

That is a good question. I guess a few big pots would work. There are a ton of plants that contain DMT. Find one that has a rather clean profile and start growing!

Even if mimosa dissapears, one can still purchase the other plant material. If mimosa dies, you better believe that vendors will start carring alternatives.

What are they going to do, ban plants the USDA is using all over the midwest?

Where I live, certain plants are allowed for botanical reasons only. If you want to buy a peyote cactus, better make sure you're a collector of cacti. I'm sure it's perfectly legal to buy MHRB, but if they find a book about DMT, court's gonna say that the MHRB was meant for extracting DMT and therefore for human consumption.

I think they're doing this with every plant that contains illegal substances.

not to mention m. hostilis and similar plants are used for dye much more then as a drug. plus the bark is also used for leg wounds etc.

not to mention illegilizing all dmt containing plants is impossible. they cant win this so i think they will avoid it as long as possible.

yeah i dont think the spirits will let them take it from us.. we & them will just create out of nothing a new species with our combined minds/forces.

we will simply stumble apon another plant unknown & the dance will go on.. hjaha

I'm trying to understand the purpose of a drug like this being a club drug since it only lasts 15 minutes

maybe if you smoked a hit, then smoked weed all night

they'll try and ban most of the common plants involved if they could. (no one wants to lose MHRB for sale im sure!) - and anyone caught growing it will probably get done to if you happen to look like or lead a slightly alternative lifestyle...

it's when people try to capitalise on it is when it becomes most dangerous... pretty soon some bright spark will decide the start selling "the amazing jungle brew 4 clubbers!" outside clubs etc, the right media catches on to headlines of "SUPER STRENGTH HALLUCINOGEN FOR SALE ON STREETS - NEAR YOUR CHILDREN" etc... and the governament will have to do something about it.

thats what happened here in the UK with magic mushrooms. sold on the street like ice creams in the tourist areas around london (convent garden, camden etc) and they were made illegal pretty soon after...
i post on behalf of a good friend.

Hard to imagine DMT becoming a popular club drug as it's typically available currently. My impression of a successful club drug is something that's easily dosed, relatively consistent in effect, long lasting and highly social. I don't see DMT falling into any of these categories. My guess is that in the next few years we'll see a synthesized version that can be snorted or dropped that provides a longer-lasting, less dis-associative high. I could see some sort of DMT-meth hybrid as a big raver hit.

I'd really hate to see such an incredible, mind expanding, teacher like DMT go this direction, but I suppose it's just a matter of time, unfortunately.
I am not a drug addict seeking escape from reality. I am an explorer of consciousness challenging consensus reality.

…is DMT dangerous? The answer is only if you fear death by astonishment… [crowd laughter]… Remember how you laughed when this possibility was raised… a moment will come that will wipe the smile right off your face.
