I used this tek here: http://www.shroomery.org...flat.php/Number/10089233
The link is down at the moment, but I used a 1:1 lye:mhrb, 600cc's of distilled water, and 75cc's of naptha after I let the mhrb sit in the lye water for 24 hours, I added the naptha. I swirled it probably 7-8 times (no shaking) for 30 hours or so because of time constraints. I look at the naptha and it has almost the same colour as the lye water itself, but I can still somewhat see a separation line. I thought it was supposed to have a yellow cast not a purple/whatever colour?

Any help?

Hey Swim Is by far no expert, But what they believe to be true is that the nalpha fully saturated should become cloudy, Not colored purple like the essence of the plant itself, also warm nalpha and hot nalpha holds more spirit than cold, Once again I believe that once the nalpha cools any crystals it contains herein will begin to clump together and they are sightly visable.. be careful heating nalpha it is very flamable, Use and indirect heat source . Like a hot water bath, I hope this helps.

I think what you're seeing is an emulsion layer and a lye-mimosa stew layer. If clear naphtha doesn't start separating out, adding a bunch of salt should help (i use rocksalt, it's cheap and it doesn't have the anticaking agents that most table salt has)

Another thing to do would be add more water, the lower the amount of water, the soupier the liquid and more likely for naptha to be stuck and become emulsified. Salt can help too though
Q21Q21's Tek: A comprehensive guide to extracting DMT
The 2 teks use non-toxic lime and vinegar and Tek 1: d-Limonene or Xylene or Tek 2: Naptha to produce very quick high yields with the greatest of ease.

I am almost never on this site anymore so I will likely not answer PMs

I added some kosher salt that had no anti caking agent or iodine, and I also added a little bit of water."
So I will update you guys when I see some results, or not. It is sitting in a hot water bath at the moment.
