Recently, when i was reading an article about CBD and endocannabinoïds, i stumbled upon a substance called palmitoylethanolamide. It is sort of half an endocannabinoïd in the sense that it does not directly seem to stimulate the CB1 or CB2 receptors, but it does affect the metabolism of anandamide.
What's interesting about it, is that it seems to have all the therapeutic effects of CBD without having any of the side-effects. And it also appears to be more effective than CBD in treating several types of chronic pain and inflammatory diseases.
When i googled it, i saw that it is also slightly cheaper.
This is good news for people who now rely on CBD for the treatment of chronic pains or inflammatory diseases.
