I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

If google is not already the ultimate tracking device, it soon will be. What does person x watch on youtube, where does he shop online, ad infinitum. And now a phone? Does it have GPS? Oh yeah. They ALL do... Anyone know IBM's connection to the holocaust? Anyone know google's connection with IBM? Ummm. Hmmmm. Know I'm kind of old, but . . . does it . . . . perhaps . . . make phone calls? "But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."-Rick Doblin, Ph.D. MAPS President, MAPS Bulletin Vol. XX, No. 1, pg. 2Hyperspace LOVES YOU

I'm into all the latest tech stuff, but I really don't like having a phone that is not designed to work like a phone. These are PDAs with phone functions, not phones with PDA functions. I hate them. The only one I would get is one that feels like a phone in my hands and is comfortable to use while talking. These flat PDAs do not cut it. They are very bad phones. I like the phones that open up and fit your face with a curve, nothing flat for me. Sorry. I also don’t like the size and shape of these PDAs. They are like wallets, not phones. They are not comfortable to hold or use as a phone. They are just PDAs. PDAs have been around for a long time. There’s really nothing amazingly new about this or the iPhone, or any of the other “NEW” phones. You may remember me as 69Ron. I was suspended years ago for selling bunk products under false pretenses. I try to sneak back from time to time under different names, but unfortunately, the moderators of the DMT-Nexus are infinitely smarter than I am.
If you see me at the waterpark, please say hello. I'll be the delusional 50 something in the American flag Speedo, oiling up his monster guns while responding to imaginary requests for selfies from invisible teenage girls.

I have the European HTC Hero (Nicely curved at the bottom to fit the curve of your face ) I love that phone to the bone. Though I must say I'm a tek person and installed a custom ROM on it to make it work just a tad better/faster. The sound quality while making a call is at least on par with the Nokia and Sony Ericsson 'dumb' phones I've had. What I like about Android and iPhone OS is that they combine old tricks from the PDA's with new technology like compass, accelerometer, GPS and other sensors. Examples of this: * When you go to work your phone will recognize the area by GPS coordinates and switch your Agenda to the company agenda, contacts, etc. Or when you go to the pub it will lock the phone numbers of non-friends to prevent you calling them in a drunk wave. * With Google Sky Map you can point your phone at the night sky and see what the name of that bright star is, or find the constellations. It uses the compass and the GPS for this. * You are in another town as your home town, sitting in a restaurant with your girlfriend and you ask yourself if there is any cinema near. You open Layar, start the Movie layar and you can see where the nearest cinema is, what movies they play and at what times and you can even contact them to make a reservation, either by phone or internet. After you make the reservation you get directions how to get there by way of navigation. And so there are many examples of the renewed holistic thinking in smartphone apps. This will only get better and more creative the coming time and I welcome it. Kind regards, The Traveler
