Though I am primarily a musician, and have always considered myself rather deficient in the visual arts, the internal urge to recreate some of the beautiful and intriguing elements of the psychedelic experience (with a heavy emphasis on DMT) has spurred me to try and bring back what I experience in not just words and music, but via the visual medium as well.
A lot of my work is mandala-like - balancing masculine and feminine archetypal geometries. My DMT experiences are often replete with Egyptian imagery, and so that influences my art rather heavily, albeit frequently obliquely. In my Egyptian mandala, the lions in the top right corners for example are inclined at the same angle as the walls of the Great Pyramid at Giza, so little, obscure, dare I say - esoteric - touches often pervade my work.
