Hello all,

At september 18th a little disaster struck our beloved site: While on holiday (of course) I logged on to our server and noticed something strange had happened, I saw popup's that didn't belong at the server at all!

First I tried to run several virus-checks but many couldn't install, also the ones that could install didn't find a thing. Funky thing is tha NOD32 that was running nonstop at the server didn't notice a thing! Worried about this attack I decided to shutdown the server completely to prevent the virus/trojan/whatever from being destructive.

Unfortunetly time was running out for me to setup a small webpage on another server to notify everybody since I had to travel to other places.

Back home I traveled to the datacenter with my girlfriend only to find out that having a RAID-configuration for the boot disk is a bad idea . The anti-virus program I took with me on a boot-CD couldn't find the boot drive at all! I decided to take the server home and work things out.

Then another tragic struck: my girlfriend had headaches for the last three weeks and the morning after I took my server home she was making some breakfast. While having a cup of milk in her hands, she really couldn't understand anymore what to do with it. In the afternoon we went to a doctor and had to go to the ER immediatly since they suspected a brain-stroke (is that how you call it?). After several test it was decided she had to stay at the hospital. The next few days I really hadn't time to work on the server because of hospital visits.

Today, after endless test my girlfriend was allowed to go home. She feels better now but it's still not clear what the couse could have been, they suspect acute demyelatation, not a good thing but also not the worst.

Anyway, I reinstalled the server, this time with Windows Server 2008 (old installation was 2003) and got the nexus back online (which went way more smooth as expected, I think I like Server 200.


I hope this event didn't put too much of a shock to the community and that we can continue where we were.

Whao ! Synchronicity, coincidence... last 3 weeks were a nightmare to my girlfriend and myself has she had to undergo a serious operation... it was on 18 th
Nothing in my DMT experiences could have prepared me to this. Sad to say but that kind of problem show us the weakness of life much stronger than any (bad) trip.
I guess I know what you may have felt and I wish your girlfriend to recover as fast as possible.

However I'm really glad to see my favorite forum back. I missed you guys !

Thanks Traveler! I started to fear that the nexus was gone forever...I damn near cried.

I'm really sorry to hear about your girlfriend... She's in our thoughts and prayers. May she have a quick and complete recovery.

I have to thank you all in the name of my girlfriend, she is touched by all the kind words you showed for her.

On this moment she's still a bit shaky but doing much better as before. Last weekend we went off to visit a nice town in The Netherlands, it was a good thing to do for her since she needed to take a break of everything.

I'm really sorry to hear about your girlfriend. hope she`ll be better. kemist is not a long time on the nexus, but he like it,simple because some swims are intelligent an have good ideas. He also tough, that was the end of nexus.He started posting on other forum (DF) (where called him refugee and asked for donation :shock and spot your message in dwithy thread so he was impatiently waiting for resurection of Nexus because THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A DMT NEXUS. Cheers for your`s hard work the Traveler, mate!!!

My sister live in Haarlem , Netherland is beautiful place, i can`t wait for my holiday to see Her and lovely Holland.

Coincidentally (?) I had no time anyway the last few weeks due to crazy work pressure... just made the deadline and getting ready to invite some Elves again, missed them!
