A friend of mine and I recently started a salvinorin A extraction using the cold acetone method. Our only issue is that after doing all of the cold acetone washes we put acetone in the fridge for 24 hours as suggested by the guide we were using (to allow sediment to fall to the bottom). Our only issue is that upon opening the mason jar we found that the acetone had completely dissolved the rubber lining the top of the lid. It's not much rubber but we'd still like to be able to remove it so that rubber is not in the final product. Would anyone have a good idea as to how we may remove the rubber? Will it remove on it's own when we wash it with naptha, water, and finally anhydrous IPA?

I've never taken the extraction process to that level, meaning the naphtha and IPA washes. That said, I think it would at least help remove traces of rubber. I can't be sure, as I've never had this problem myself.

For future extractions, you should get a french coffee press. That's what gibran and myself use, and it's very handy.

IME those solvents don't effect the rubber seal like acetone does, so I doubt they will remove any rubber.
I would think you'd have to do some kind of A/B on it.

I don't know what the solubility of salvinorin A is but if you can find a solvent that the rubber is soluble in but salvinorin A is not, or the reverse then you can clean it easily.

Be careful, some of those french presses have plastic strainers. You don't want to pour acetone through plastic.
Its the MeICNU
