I've seen the milkiness before but it usually disappears after a little stirring. Is this plant fat?
I used a blender with acid (HCl) water to puree MHRB....let it sit for a couple of days and boiled for a couple of hours.
Then filtered through increasingly fine mesh with 400 being the finest. Then basifying with concentrated NaOH to just above oH 12.
Added NPS...stirred it in and let it separate....boom... emulsion time.
I have it in an ultrasonic water bath and that helps a lot...but the cloudiness in the aqueous layer isn't going more than that.
